We are training you on 7 essential principles of Active Reading and demonstrate this on a sample lessons content.

Reading is considered to be an old phenomenon of learning or understanding. A different school of thought considers reading as a boring way of learning, one can easily be diverted from the track. In order to keep the reader active and reading
interesting one needs to follow seven essential principles of active reading.

These seven essential ways of reading are:

1- Self-questioning

One should keep reading interesting and motivated by keep asking questions oneself. Self-questioning helps in learning and getting maximum information as one looking to gather more and more information in order in order to understand properly.

 

2- Outlining the assumption

Outlining the assumptions will help in creating a hypothesis regarding certain results of a particular content one is reading. 

3- Developing connections and links

Developing connections will helps in understanding the connections of different characters, theories, or given information. One can figure out the maximum output one stance, theory or act can make by connecting dots. 

4- Finding patterns

Finding patterns is a strategy in which one tries to look at patterns in the data in order to solve the query or understand the theme of the story. Certain repeated items, numbers, scenarios, practices, or themes.
5- Transferring the knowledge points

Transferring the knowledgeable points will help in keeping a highlight regarding the content, theory, or article one is reading. By transferring knowledgeable points, one keeps things in mind and share knowledge with people, leads to the enhancement of the communication and writing skills of an individual. 

6- Highlighting possible Interpretations

Highlighting possible interpretations will help in understanding things properly and critical thinking will increase the scope of thinking and mentality level of an individual. The interest of the reader stays active with sharp critical thinking.  

7- Highlighting possible ambiguities

 Highlighting possible ambiguities will help in resolving the issue and addresses the concern
more effectively. Identification of a problem shows how an individual is involved in the task and will keep the reader active and focused.
